Hi.. this is Aditi. I’m fifteen years old and i have no experience of acting. Through Samahaara acting workshop i got an opportunity to act in this wonderful play Blood Song. Its a very good opportunity for me to prove myself and i thank the whole team of Samahaara and the Director Prof David Zinder for having faith in me and casting me in the play.
The day I watched my first film ( was a tiny tot then ) was when I deeply fell in love with films or rather acting. I started giving different poses and expressions in front of mirror , trying to imitate various actors or imagining myself as one. My childhood was filled with all the excitement and joy dreaming that one day I would see myself on the silver screen. But what actually mesmerized me was a play I watched at Ravindra Bharati when I was ten. It was wonderful to see how the artists were performing so well that too live. As a kid, that amused me a lot, and now as a fifteen year old , surprisingly , it still does. I still adore theatre artists and their courage to perform in front of such large audiences.

So , yes, if the silver screen attracted me , then theatre lured me ! I love every aspect of theatre and wish to be a part of this industry. As Mr.Kalam defines a dream, acting is the dream that keeps me awake in the night. I know that if I prove to be a good theatre artist, an appreciable one , I WILL be a wonderful film actor too. But as I said, theatre comes first. I have the enthusiasm, confidence , dedication and full-on passion to achieve my goal.
