Film making is not just about ‘Lights/Camera/Action’. Neither is theatre. A handsome majority of the audience relates with the actors of the play but tend to be oblivious of the hardships faced by many others who stay behind the stage and serve a vital role in assisting the play.
One such magician behind the scenes is the Director, who arrests the motion of life by artificial means and grounds, so that after several decades when a stranger glances, it moves him once again. A director’s sole obligation is to record the actions and reactions of the world he breathes in and showcase it to the world through his perspective.
We, at Samahaara, recognize the efforts put in by these Directors and appreciate their hard work in bringing their plays to life. Samahaara also acknowledges the backstage crew without whom no play could appeal to its audience, no viewer can relate to its actors, and no observer can associate with the plot.
A humble thank you, to those playing a part in bringing to life; Art in its authentic form.
