I play Leonardo in Blood song. The character exemplifies old school masculinity with hints of extreme passion on both sides of the emotional spectrum so to speak. The challenge for me is to bring out the intensity of the character which basically envelopes what the whole play is about… “Love”. It makes you do crazy things.
David has a wealth of experience and patience. It has been a privilege to be working with a director who such an array of tools to help actors realize their full potential! The exercises which he made us do as part of the play has not only broadened my horizons as an actor but has also enhanced me as a person. His patience speaks volumes in letting us know that he has the confidence in us to do justice to this beautiful adaptation. His timely sense of humor allows us to enjoy our rehearsal and there is always something more to learn from him. Although when he is working it is serious and that has helped in elevating my concentration levels to another “zone” so to say. He has brought out the better side of me as a person and has inspired me to be a better actor every day.
I’m a very happy go lucky guy. Being an actor full time now, I try to balance my heart and brain all the time. I am an avid motorcycle enthusiast and have participated in various events and rallies of the like. I am an emotional person and that is at the heart of everything I do. I enjoy martial arts, playing the guitar/ singing and of course riding my motorcycle. Some people say I love “her” more than anything and my response to that is, it’s the only thing that has ever been constant in my life and been there through thick or thin.
