Samahaara is conducting Theatre Workshops at The Actor’s Studio Hyderabad. At a lovely studio on the top floor of the culturally advanced Hansel School in Madhapur, it was kickstarted by our theatre faculty Naresh, and supervised by Rathna Shekar Reddy.
A two month workshop, it is a production oriented workshop…and will be conducted with a fresh batch every two months. The concept is Theatre 365 Days and hopefully this will answer the demand for theatre workshops for all you newbies out there. The timing is 7 to 9 PM, 5 days a week, designed for students and corporates.
The workshop ended with a beautiful and touching production “Colors of Love”, loosely based on Harold Pinter’s play ‘Lovers’, but really using concepts and improvisations learnt during the first month of the workshop.
It was a huge success and the audiences loved the theatre weekend Samahaara organized at Lamakaan. And we shall be back, with the next workshop production, introducing a whole new cast to the Hyderabadi audiences.
